Officially opened on November 25th 1984, Mathenge Technical Training Institute is a public tertiary institution under the Kenya Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology. Today the institute is is one of the best technical training institutions within the Nyeri county. It offers various diploma, certificate and artisan courses with intakes spread throughout the year.
