Cosmetology is the study and application of beauty treatment. Branches of specialty include hairstyling, skin care, cosmetics, manicures/pedicures, non-permanent hair removal such as waxing and sugaring, and permanent hair removal processes such as electrology and intense pulsed light.

This Cosmetology degree is first of its kind in Africa, exploiting the very lucrative market that has for a long time lacked appropriate professional input.

Qualification Required

To qualify for admission to this programme, candidates must meet any of the following minimum requirements:

1. “O” Level / KCSE Mean Grade of C+ with a minimum of C+ in English or Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry
2. Relevant diploma from a recognized institution
