About Course

This research intensive course is aimed at equipping the student with a broad overview of how environmental and physical land forms are spatially organized and connected. Surveyors are considered very important in any form of physical constructions since they are able to pre-determine construction constraints.

 Students will be introduced to the latest surveying technology mapping tools such as Global Positioning Systems, electronic distance metres and remote sensing.

Qualification Required

To qualify for admission to this programme, candidates must meet any of the following minimum requirements:

1. Holder of K.C.S.E certificate, grade C+ or its equivalent
2. Holder of K.A.C.E certificates with a minimum of two principals and one subsidiary pass or its equivalent
3. Holder of a 2 year relevant diploma from an accredited institution which is recognized by the university senate

3. Solve Mathematical problems using algebraic and trigonometric functions
